When he was a student at the art academy, the senior professor of the Jerusalem University Pedagogy Division, who years earlier happened to be his middle school teacher, introduced him to his students as the kid that used to sketch and illustrate during class. Today, in his body of artwork he is still illustrating by engaging diverse visual languages to express and blend his experiences with the surroundings. Through several periods of his life, Yoram used realism or abstraction to explore real life situations, using a variety of mediums, techniques and sense of humor.
Recognizing the importance of environmental issues that face the world today, Yoram devoted a great amount of his time to working on what he calls “Save Earth Recycling Series.” In this body of work, he created mixed media paintings and sculptures from items and materials that other people throw away.
